Homemade sourdough bread

Preparation: 14 hours | Baking: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 500 g semi-white flour
  • 350 ml water
  • 100 g sourdough starter
  • 10 g salt

Method

  1. Activate the starter 8 hours before baking.
  2. Mix flour and water, then rest for 1 hour.
  3. Add starter and salt, then knead for 5 minutes.
  4. Bake in a covered pot at 250 °C.
Walnut baklava rolls

Walnut potica

Preparation: 2 hours | Baking: 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 500 g flour
  • 200 ml milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 400 g ground walnuts

Method

  1. Activate yeast in warm milk.
  2. Knead the dough and let it rise.
  3. Roll it out and spread the filling.
  4. Bake at 180 °C for 45 minutes.

Apple strudel

Preparation: 35 minutes | Baking: 35 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 pastry sheets
  • 1 kg apples
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Method

  1. Grate the apples and mix with sugar.
  2. Layer the pastry sheets and spread the filling.
  3. Roll the strudel.
  4. Bake at 200 °C for 35 minutes.
